1. dedicated：形容词 “献身的；专注的；专用的”（如 a dedicated teacher 敬业的老师；dedicated to work 专注于工作；a dedicated computer 专用电脑）、动词 dedicate 的过去分词（如 The book is dedicated to his mother 这本书献给她的母亲）；
2. 与 dedicate（动词 “献身；致力于；献给”，如 dedicate oneself to charity 献身慈善；dedicate a book to sb 把书献给某人）混淆词性 ——dedicate 是动词（dedicate to sth），dedicated 是形容词 / 分词（be dedicated to sth），不可说 “he dedicate to work”，应为 “he is dedicated to work”；
